PLUSA Application 2023
The application period for the Summer Academy 2023 ist now open!
Apply until July 5th!
We try to accomodate as many applicants as possible. The goal is to make sure that there will be vibrant discussions in every workshop group. Our application process is designed to help us understand why each applicant wants to participate, why they are interested in a specific workshop, and whether they will actively participate in the program.
In the application process, we ask you which workshop they are most interested in. You are able to state your first, second, and third preference of workshops in the application form and we will try our best to allocate everyone to their most preferred option. You are able to familiarize yourselves with the offered workshops here. Before applying, all applicants are asked to make sure that you are willing to commit to the whole weekend.
We invite German and non-German speakers and from all disciplines to apply, provided they are eager to spend one weekend diving into heterodox economics with us.
To apply, applicants need to:
- Fill out our application form, which will be linked here during the application period.
- Write a motivational statement (max. 400 words).
- Prepare a CV (max. two pages).
You will be able to upload your motivational statement and CV directly in the application form.
The number of participants is limited to 12 people per workshop. In the case of overbooking, the organizing team will perform a selection process based on transparent criteria to make sure the workshop groups are composed of diverse and motivated people.
